"Multifunction" is one of those words that means everything and therefore nothing. On the Odyssey it means something specific: two points of contact, two motors, one remote. That is the whole idea, and whether it is the right idea for you comes down to a question most product pages never ask.

Do you actually want two things happening at once?

35 mm insertable is short. That is deliberate on a dual-stimulation shape, because the two contact points have to sit a fixed distance apart, and that distance is set by anatomy rather than ambition.

The common failure of this whole product category is a toy built to an average that nobody actually is. If the external arm doesn't reach, you spend the session pressing it into place with one hand, which defeats the point of a hands-free design. Silicone flexibility is what saves it — Odyssey is soft enough to be persuaded — but it is worth being honest that dual-stimulation shapes fit some bodies and not others, and no amount of specification reading will tell you which you are in advance.

Odyssey's argument is the shape and the price cut, not the spec sheet — which is a fine argument, but you should make it with your eyes open rather than because a page told you it was premium.

Living with it

Charging. USB rechargeable, and like most toys in this bracket it takes a full charge before first use. Charge it the night before you want it, not ten minutes before.

Cleaning. Warm soapy water or a body-safe cleanser on a cloth, then air dry. Do not submerge. Do not use anything alcohol-based on silicone — it dries the surface out and leaves microscopic texture that holds bacteria.

Storage. Its own pouch, not touching other silicone. Silicone-on-silicone contact over months can leave permanent marks where two formulations react.
