Materials, and what body-safe actually means
Silicone, ABS, borosilicate, steel — and the ones we refuse to stock.

Body-safe means non-porous and phthalate-free. Non-porous matters because a porous surface holds bacteria no amount of soap will reach, which is why we do not stock jelly, PVC or "skin-like" blends of unnamed composition.
Platinum-cure silicone is the default for anything soft. It tolerates boiling, it does not leach, and it lasts years. Its one rule: keep silicone-based lubricant away from it, or the surface will slowly degrade. Water-based lubricant is always safe.
ABS plastic, borosilicate glass and 316 stainless steel are all non-porous and fully sterilisable. Glass and steel also hold temperature, which is a feature if you like it and a surprise if you do not. Test on your wrist first.
