Accessibility statement
What we have done, what still falls short, and how to tell us about a barrier.
Last updated 15 August 2026
Our target
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA across the shop, product pages, finder and checkout. This statement describes the real state of the site, not an aspiration.
What works today
Every interactive control is reachable by keyboard and shows a visible focus ring. Form fields have persistent, sentence-case labels, and validation messages are linked to their field so screen readers announce them.
Body text meets AA contrast against its background. Interactive controls are at least 44 by 44 pixels. Carousels and transitions honour the operating-system reduced-motion setting, and no animation loops indefinitely.
Known gaps
Some supplier product images carry text inside the image that is not repeated in the alt attribute. We rewrite these as we re-photograph products.
A small number of older specification tables are wider than a phone screen and require horizontal scrolling.
Telling us about a barrier
Email our support address describing the page and what stopped you. We reply within five working days and tell you either the fix date or the workaround. If you cannot complete an order because of a barrier, we will take the order over email instead.
